Health authorities from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommend the following precautionary measures against the onslaught of COVID-19, such as frequent handwashing, using of hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol, avoiding close contact with others, covering your mouth and nose with a mask when around others, observing cough and sneezing etiquette, disinfecting of surroundings, and observing regular health monitoring.
